Create-A-Day: From the DC Tulip Library

I don’t know a damn thing about tulips…

Tulip Library: The Tulip Library is a display garden showcasing nearly 100 varieties of tulips. A popular site for photographers and picnickers, the Library offers a splash of vibrant color amidst the hustle and bustle of downtown Washington, DC.

(above quote from a DC National Parks brochure)

I only happened upon the Tulip Library because my good friend Missy came down from Philly to go to the Cherry Blossom festival with me. Due to our bizarre winter weather, the Cherry Blossoms were neither on schedule nor their normal pink color. We got white and brown blossoms, hence why I have pictures of the tulips instead.
